In short
Meet My Adviser is a Brisbane-based service run by Seaton Blayney. It introduces Australians preparing for retirement to licensed financial advisers for a free 30-minute call. Advisers pay a flat fee for each booked introduction. Meet My Adviser does not give financial advice.
Who runs Meet My Adviser
Meet My Adviser is run by Seaton Blayney from Greenslopes in Brisbane. It's a registered business name of Seaton Mitchell Blayney, ABN 78 441 056 995.
Seaton started it because finding a financial adviser you can trust shouldn't be hard work. He isn't a financial adviser and doesn't give advice. His job is to understand what you're looking for, introduce you to a licensed adviser who suits it, and then get out of the way.
You can reach Seaton directly on 0479 180 397 or at Seaton@MeetMyAdviser.com.au.
How Meet My Adviser is paid
- Advisers pay Meet My Adviser a flat fee for each booked introduction.
- The fee is the same whatever you decide after the call.
- The 30-minute call costs you nothing, and there's no obligation to go further.
- If you later choose to get advice, the adviser charges for it. They must explain their fees before you agree to anything. See how much a financial adviser costs.
How we choose your adviser
- We check their registration. Before we introduce anyone, we check the adviser is listed on ASIC's Financial Advisers Register. You can check it yourself too: here's how.
- We match by location. We use your postcode to find an adviser who works in your area.
- We match how you want to meet. Phone, Zoom or in person.
- We check they have time. We only introduce you to an adviser who is taking on new clients.
What we never do
- Give financial advice or recommend products.
- Sell, rent or trade your details. We share them only with the one adviser we introduce you to. See our Privacy Policy.
- Cold-call members of the public. We only contact people who ask us to.
- Offer "super health checks" or quizzes that tell you what to do with your money.

If you're not happy
Call or email Seaton and we'll sort it out, including finding you a different adviser if the first one wasn't the right fit. A complaint about advice goes to the adviser first. Every licensed adviser must have a complaints process and belong to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA).
Common questions

No. Meet My Adviser is an introduction service. It does not hold an Australian financial services licence, does not give financial advice and does not recommend products. Any advice comes from the licensed adviser you speak with.
How does Meet My Adviser make money?
Advisers pay Meet My Adviser a flat fee for each booked introduction. The fee is the same whatever you decide after the call, and you never pay Meet My Adviser anything.
Is Meet My Adviser a lead generator?
In the broad sense, yes: advisers pay us to introduce people who have asked to speak with one. We think you should know that up front, which is why it's explained on every page. We only contact members of the public who ask us to, we speak to every person ourselves, and we never sell your details.
